RegenPRP is recognised as the leading provider of a patented technology to produce Autologous Platelet Rich Plasma (A-PRP). The technology processes your own blood to use the platelets, cells and proteins, for indications in various medical disciplines.

Why have A-PRP?

A-PRP stimulates the patient’s cells to regenerate the skin’s connective tissue, resulting in accelerated healing post laser and skin needling. It also improves the skin texture and elasticity and contributes to the remodelling of collagen fibres.

Platelet Rich Plasma can also be injected intra-dermally relying on a technique both safe and simple, using the regenerative and healing properties of platelets. They have the ability to locally release growth factors, small molecules that act as messengers to initiate the process of skin regeneration.

Injections of A-PRP into the dermis, support, accelerate and increase the tissue regeneration process. A-PRP stimulates the synthesis of the different components of the extra cellular matrix (including glycosaminoglycans, collagen, elastic, hyaluronic acid and fibronectin). A-PRP induces stem cell division and differentiation, and stimulates neoangiogenesis.

What areas can be treated with RegenPRP?

  • Face
  • Neck
  • Décolletage
  • Hands
  • Scar tissue
  • Surgical scarring

 How does the treatment work?

This treatment involves the collection of your blood (approximately 10 – 20 mL), then your blood is spun down using a centrifuge to separate out the plasma and platelet portion using the separator gel as a special filter. The PRP portion of your blood is then injected or needled back in to your skin to stimulate new collagen production. The product injected or needled in to your skin is 100% your own blood by-product (autologous).

RegenPRP Growth Factor Serum FAQs

The number of treatments required depends upon the health and age of your skin. Normally it is advised to have 2 or 3 treatments, 4 to 6 weeks apart.

There is ongoing improvement in the skin for up to 12 months after each treatment depending on the rate the patient grows collagen. Suggested follow up treatments at 12 months.

No. Swelling from the plasma is what you will see and feel first. Once this has subsided, initially you will not see much change at all. Over a few weeks, the platelets will stimulate the growth factors which will help assist in more collagen growth, elastin and new blood supply to the area.

It is important to have realistic expectations when undergoing any treatment.

  • Results such as increased hydration may be visible at 2-3 weeks and improve gradually over the coming months with improvement in texture and tone
  • Improvement in skin laxity, thinning and skin density
  • Reduced severity of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Advanced wrinkling cannot be reversed and a minimal improvement is predictable in people who consume alcohol and tobacco in large amounts
  • Severe scarring may not respond
